How BridgeClimb changed the world's view of Sydney

The story began in 1989 with BridgeClimb's Founder and Chairman, Paul Cave. This was the year, his dream of making a Sydney Harbour BridgeClimb a possibility for all was born. Yet it was a dream that would face many years of challenges, amongst them: dealing with state and local government bodies, community groups and hundreds of experts on everything from safety and logistics to media, heritage and conservation issues.

Without his singular vision, commitment, persistence and entrepreneurial skills - the thrill of climbing the bridge would still be strictly limited to the army of workers who maintain this amazing landmark.

So far, over two million visitors from around the world have experienced Sydney on one of BridgeClimb's unique adventures. For many, their Climb ranks as a lifetime memory and signature Australian experience.

The experience of Climbing the bridge is also highly regarded by Sydney siders and their fellow Australians. The bridge holds a special place in their hearts and the gift of a BridgeClimb experience has become a firm favourite for birthdays, anniversaries, Christmas, Valentine's Day, Mother's Day and Father's Day.

Today, everyone over the age of ten, in good health, and with a sense of adventure is invited to scale the Sydney Harbour Bridge with BridgeClimb.
